Studying Report - by Tan Yeinnie (USM)JunI truly believe that TCU is an extraordinary University, whatIcan say is every student here is bathed with loves and prayers by lecturers, The Yi De daddy and mummy, friends, etc.
Ive been given the chance to exercise my wisdom here. The food here that feed students mind and heart determines their good asaperson. Teachers here always help in study environment, they are not only showing the passion of educating the next generation but also allow and encourage students to open their minds to real education and enlightened thinking.
Though it seems to me that TCU isabit too conservative, for example, we have to wear uniform on school day, must get back to the dormitory before 11pm, students are still being taking care of by so-called daddy and mummy; but what convince me to abide the rules and regulations in the University is the Master Cheng Yens concept about education. She believes the key ingredients for the prosperity of our society depends on good education system and the success of education is reflected by the students performance.
Everything in the campus lays the great value of her simple message- gratitude, respect, love. Im curious about the teachers here; they are always there to solve the students problems. They are always there to give instructions. But what really stunned me are the manners that can be seen in every corner of the school.
We often hear stories of scandals and acts of immorality like Chao, who faces the allegations of involvement in corruption. Learning about morality depends on the social norms of the society to which you belong. Globalization, modernization, information technology and their effects have forced us to accept practices that we could never accept in the past. Unethical behavior is becoming quite the norm in some quarters. We live inatroubled world where people have lost their sense of what social conduct is all about.
TCU, to put it in briefly, has taken up the huge traditional responsibility in instilling the essence of morality in the students. Students are taught to put moralism in action. The basic principle thatIlearned is working for the benefits of others. Students are given the opportunity to engage in charitable activities inside the school as well as community services.
In agree that love education offering by TCU can change the destiny of the present society intoabetter harmonious society. As the people here are sowing good seeds and spreading the seeds of love to make new sprouts grow, sooner or later hope is taking root in the society.

学业上,我并没有很精进、只是努力於兴趣较大的科目.最让我津津乐道的是遇到好老师,人发系,社工系,通识课的老师等等、都让我增进不少知识,的确无法不向老师们说感恩.
他们是百分百的好老师,以学生为本的好老师,肯花时间倾听学生的好老师.他们有的是至高无上的奉献精神,用心培养内涵丰富的学生.
这里的师生比例也确实令人赞叹、理科大学一届毕业生近八千人、可想而知.我这个小女子是未曾在大学里感受到的,这种师生互动之间所带来的关怀、小班制的学习达到了教育最高品质.
一般上,大学生只视追求学问为己任,但在这,学校提供了学习人格价值升华的好地方.无数的通识讲座和系上研讨会统统都很不错,虽然觉得茶花道课很严肃、但我却深深的被吸引住.优秀的老师,搭配典雅的环境、有谁不倾心慈济人文不仅是一门有趣的课,电影播放,启发我们的爱心、学会不去计较伸手相援,身体力行去付出、学会无所求.手语学习,展现文化之美,学会温柔的一面.当医院,书轩,和精舍志工,以及做环保的意义、一一融入求学的过程.
亲身体验过,封闭的制度里、一群采用开放式教学的老师,是学校的发展特色.
学术成就全球百大的理科大学,尚缺这无杂质的人文精粹.
